BERGEN TRIATHLON CLUB NISSEMAN 2013 - 2014

Nisseman is a winter training triathlon for BTC members.
Bigger and badder than ever ! The first session this season will be our 21 st Nisseman session !

The dates......

1) Sat 23 Nov 2013
2) Sat 14 Dec 2013
3) Sat 11 Jan 2014
4) Sat 8 Feb 2014
5) Sat 15 Mar 2014

The plan

Location UiB SiB studentsenter in Bergen Sentrum.

08:45 - Meet SiB and change for swimming
09:00 - Swimming - fixed program ( warm up / 8 x 200m ) in lanes
10:15 - Change for spinning
10:30 – Spinning (multiple 15 minute intervals to a selection of load music)
12:45 - Change for running
13:00 – Running (12 km alongside Svartediket)
14:00 - Change and shower

There is a limit of 50 participants and costs 60 Kr each. Like last year the session is open to SiB members (free) as an agreement to use the facilities and raise triathlon awareness. Therefore its important you register early in order to not miss your place.

A bit of Nisseman history for those interested:

The first Nisseman was (of course) invented by mr.creativity Kjell Erik and took place 10 Jan 2009 in Os where , if I am not mistaken the cycling was done on mountain bikes instead of spinning.

Based on the success of the first one and the desire for more winter training we ran 3 Nisseman in jan , Feb and Mar 2010 winter season all based in Os, all including spinning in the Actic spinning hall

In the 2010-2011 winterseason we ran 6 sessions, again all in Os.

In the 2011-2012 winter season we ran 5 sessions in Os, but found that we were often oversubscribed and that the spinng hall of 25 was too small. We even had members bring their bike and roller to the spinng hal to give addtional place.

2012- 2013 saw the move to Bergen, the first 2 sessions taking place at Stemmemyren pol and Sib in Sandviken. This was a temprary solution limited to 20 in the spinning hall. In the new year 2013 we moved to the SiB university center in Bergen Sentrum where 3 sessions took place. The agreement to use these facilities includes inviting SiB members to join the session, which is positive for triathlon. The capacity of almost 60 in the spinning hall has moved the botteneck to the pool and has allowed us to expand to 50 for the 2013-2014 season.

Hi there, It looks like the ventilation could be fixed by Saturday. Also we now have new credits on the sign up page meaning SiB members can sign up for free (which incidentally costs Bergen triathlon club 10 kr per sign up, so please dont abuse this).

Noen som ikke skal bruke svømmeplassen sin?

Eg vurderer å svømme ganske kort.. Hadde ikkje planlagt å la vær å svømma, men ei skulder som trøbler seg her.

Hvis du får mine 30-40 første minutt i bassenget Bernt, er det ok?

Hørte i går at Nina hadde meldt seg på, men ikke kunne likevel. Du kan sikkert ta plassen hennes og

Me får sjå korleis skuldero klara seg. E redd det e betennelse. Men eg tenker uansett å dukke opp litt etter dåkke andre, så min første halvtime er ledig..

Takk Steve for en hyggelig og krevende treningsøkt på lørdag. Når jeg kom hjem så jeg at jeg hadde fått med meg en ekstra hvit BTC sykkeltrøye i størrelse Large (fra herregarderoben!). Den som savner trøyen kan sende meg en melding slik at vi kan avtale overlevering av renvasket sykkeltrøye.
